24. Bee Business – Reading Slides

Halo olaketa! (Solomon Island language week)

For this week’s reading, the two reading groups – Tui and Karearea, were focusing on these sets of slides about bees(!):
Slides: 11, 13 and 14 are skipped because I obviously haven’t finished them in due time.

Anyways, I’m going to list the meanings of things for each slide. The third slide speaks for itself and slide four is about listing the things from the videos for slide three. Slide 5 – 6  is about awesome words and their meanings,  slides 7 and 9 is both related, and slide 8 was a poster I’ve made on Canva (And it has a link to it.) And slide 10- 17 are all related (I believe) but not finished because I haven’t read the book because I don’t have much time to.

Thanks to Naomi and Papyrus AI my writing is now better! And thanks to you, for reading this post ❤. Please inform me if anything troubles you just by commenting and feel free to ask me any questions, did I forget anything? Just know I’ll always be there to reply! Have a remarkable day, remember, God loves you, bye! 😁

24. Fair Chocolate – Reading

Hi 🤗

Last week, me and my reading group started with this slideshow about ‘ Chocolate ‘ But before we even settled to make a copy, we did a little reading about Fair Chocolate* and this book – ‘Dashing Doggies’*. After reading those articles, we then saw some videos talking about fair trade* and how chocolate was made*. Then we made a copy of a slideshow about the few things we’ve seen.

I left a slideshow un-skipped (Slide 14) despite the fact I’m not finished it, maybe I will finish it one day, but I said MAYBE so 🤷. Even despite the fact I haven’t finished, I’ve done a bit of work on the slides after slide 16.

* What is fair trade? (Slide 3)

* How is chocolate made? (Slide 6)

* Fair Chocolate (Slide 9)

* Dashing Doggies (slide 13)

That’s some of everything I have for today, thanks for reading ❤. Please inform me if anything troubles you just by commenting and feel free to ask me any questions, did I forget anything? Just know I’ll always be there to reply! Have a loving day, remember, God loves you, good to see you again!

24. Reducing our Footprint – Reading

Hola, Como Estas? (Hello, How are you?)

This week’s reading slides were about Reducing Footprints. I’m going to explain some of the slides on the slideshow below.

Slides 2-5 is the Read Journal and on slide 4 I wrote some ways on how to reduce your footprint. First is travelling smart, second is changing the way you eat, third changing how much you buy, and fourth, lastly, saving power. Some of these ways to reduce footprints, I stole them from google, but wrote the definition’s myself.

Slide 6-9 is the vocab. Then lastly slide 10-15 is Reading online (different articles). I’ve hidden slide 12 because I don’t understand it.

Thank you for reading!! Please inform me if anything troubles you by commenting and feel free to ask me any questions, did I forget anything? Just know I’ll always be there to reply! Have a blessed day, God loves you, Adiós.❤ (God loves  you, Bye.❤)

24. Down the Drain environment – Reading

Hello, last week, we were focusing on this slideshow for reading. It’s about drains, and how we could save the ocean.

I skipped some slides due to the fact I couldn’t finish them on time which is unfair to be honest, so if you’re a bit confused that’s on me, sorry. Credits on the last slide

Anyway, here’s my slideshow:

Thank you for reading!! Please inform me if anything troubles you by commenting and ask me any questions, I’ll always be there to reply. Have a blessed day, God loves you! ❤

24. Worm Farm

HELLO. This week we’ve created a worm farm in class! Before I get into details talking about our worm farm, I want to show this slide show we’ve also worked on, why not check it out before we get started on talking about our worm farm? (ALSO WATCH THE VIDEOS IN THE SLIDESHOWS – you don’t need too tho but if you did you’d understand more)

After you’ve read my slide show (Which I’d appreciate if you did), time to talk about our worm farm like I said. 😁

Each table had two ice cream containers on them, we then received a tool to create 20 holes on the bottom of one of the containers, one person pokes 3 holes each. After we’ve done that, one of us gets sent to collect pieces of bark outside, and then add the barks in the container with no holes. Then we stack the containers, adding the container with holes on top of the one with no holes. Our teacher poured the worms in a newspaper for each table, one person from each table collects the worms in a newspaper CAREFULLY in a specific way, they were tiger worms. Once that step is over, we take the worm full newspaper, and tip it in the top container. After that, we added our leftover vegetable from our lunch and fed it to our worms, then we damped tissue paper and a old clothing of PJ’s to top it off over the food, that leaves the worms left with a dark and moist environment, that’s how they get the motivation to eat your food faster. And finally, the cherry on top was the lid of an ice cream container.

THANK YOU FOR READING! Please inform me if anything troubles you by commenting, I’ll always be there to reply🔥. God bless youuu!! 🙏 ❤
