Kia Ora, reader. This week’s group reading book is ‘Fallen leaves’. Fallen leaves is a historical story that was set in 1845. It shows
the point of view of a young Māori protaganist, Haora. Haora works in the printery at Kororāreka (his home town) at the time when war was building between Ngāpuhi chief Hone Heke and the British troops.
Here’s our slideshow with the activities we had to finish relating to the story, I had two of my classmates helping in this slideshow, which was Hineahuone and Danielle.
